Job Overview

A tele-caller is responsible for making outbound phone calls to prospective customers, clients, or respondents to achieve targets such as sales, lead generation, market research, or customer service. They are required to engage with individuals professionally, communicate effectively, and meet monthly performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers / clients through the data base provided by the company or self-procured in the state of Tamil Nadu,
  • Should be able to promote company’s products & services to potential customers / clients highlighting company’s and product’s feature and benefit,
  • Should be able to generate the sales leads. Candidates must identify and qualify leads by assessing potential customers’ needs, interests, and purchasing intent,
  • She should be aggressive in converting enquiries in to closures and to achieve month-on-month business targets.
  • Candidates should be smart enough to conduct customer feedback calls to gather valuable insights and data and report to the HOD/Management in the critical events,
  • Candidates will be responsible for generating and scheduling appointments, demos or meetings for sales representatives or field staff,
  • She must accurately record and update customer information, call results and interactions in the company’s CRM or database,
  • She should be a go-getter kind of personality meeting or exceedingly daily, weekly, or monthly targets for call volume, conversions and other performance metrics,
  • Possess excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, or issues in a courteous and professional manner, aiming for issue resolution or escalation as needed,
  • Should be engaged in follow-up calls or emails with leads or customers to nurture relationships and facilitate sales or engagements,
  • Building up rapport with business partners in converting business with best practical results like profitable revenue, margin improvement, and satisfied customers,
  • Work hard to exceed customer expectations,
  • May involve sitting for extended periods while making calls,
  • May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on business needs,

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Graduate with 2 to 3 years of experience in Retail, Channel Sales selling FMCG or Solar based products like solar power plants, inverters, UPS, Solar Water Heaters, etc.,
  • Previous experience in Tele-Marketing, customer service or sales will be highly preferred,
  • Excellent verbal communication skills (Tamil & English) and a clear, pleasant phone manner,
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities,
  • Good listening skills to understand customer requirements,
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and CRM Usage,
  • Patience, resilience and the ability to handle rejections professionally,
  • Knowledge of solar or applications product or services offered will be preferred,
  • Experience in B2B handling, preferably with system integrators & installers
